Classic and collectible, 1906 Doxa open face pocket watch. It features a beautifully ornate silver plated case. This case shows signs of graceful age, showing patina and wear. The case is engraved ‘Budapest 1906’ and has an ornate relief motif of floral work, a horseshoe, and horse race. It has a porcelain dial with black painted Roman numerals and gold painted minute dots. The porcelain dial does have hairline cracks due to age, which only adds to its beauty. The dial features a seconds dial at six o’clock, beautiful metallic blue hour and minute hands and black second hand. The dial is marked Anti Magnetique DOXA. Crystal is in excellent condition. Inner lid case marked ANCRE LIGNE DROITE RUBIS DOXA LEXEES VISIBLES DOUBLE PLATEAU 376718 169. Mechanical hand wind and outer button set. It has a 15-jewel Swiss movement marked DOXA. Case measures 70mm diameter excluding crown and 22mm thickness. Serviced and timed, comes with a one-year warranty.
