Hampden Hunter Pocket Watch Gold Filled 1888's
The Hampden Watch Company, based in Canton, Ohio, produced this timepiece. It belongs to the No. 211 grade, model 3, estimated to have been manufactured around the year 1888. This watch contains a 15 jewels movement configuration with a nickel finish. A beautifully polished gold filled multi color hunting case, size 13. This case is in great condition with intricate designs. Hampden porcelain dial with black enamel roman numerals and minute markers. Beautiful metallic blue hour, minute, and seconds hands. Inner lid case marked 76079. The dial is in great condition. Crystal is in excellent condition. Mechanical hand wind and lever set, movement #502051. Case measures 41mm diameter, 14.5mm thick. Serviced and timed, comes with one year warranty.
Operating on a lever setting mechanism, it is constructed with a 3/4 plate design and a plain regulator. While not adjusted for precision, it does not bear the classification of railroad grade.
